When we called for an estimate Rudy came out and very carefully assessed our home. He didn’t give us a cookie cutter formula to restore our hand hewn cedar siding but instead talked with us about our goals and the best methods to achieve them. Our other estimates had talked of a simple power wash or cob blasting, but neither would have maintained our special finish.

I understand that Rudy does use the superior cob blasting when indicated, but in our case he use a handheld motorized sander to retain the hand grooved appearance of our siding and simultaneously retained as much of the wood as possible. Our home is 5000 sq ft and doing it by hand sounded daunting to us but not to Rudy. He was the only company that came out that even thought to offer this.

He also checked out our interior chinking at our request, teaching us about the process and our options. Rudy firmly believes in the products he uses but isn’t pushy like your typical salesman.
